The $180M master plan to upgrade the resort was developed to revitalise the accommodation offering, develop the Gold Coasts first even Beach Club and provide new and exciting food and beverage outlets. There was the addition of a complete refurbishment of Sheraton Mirage event and conferencing facilities. Prior to this significant remediation works were required to the property to maintain the integrity of the aging facility.

This included closing off and propping part of one of the car parks to address significant water leaks & degrading of the some structure elements and the resort pools waterproof membrane. Further works were completed for the ocean facing units with certain elements being degraded by the strong salt spray. Epic Vision Project Management provided strategic oversight, planning and delivery advice to reposition the asset and guide future redevelopment opportunities. Management of the remediation works were also conducted to ensure they met the required engineering standards, based on the requirements set out by the consultants.
